Gymnastics School Residencies

Inclusive movement that builds strong bodies, steady minds, and confident learners.

What We Do

Stumble Up Gymnastics delivers a fully structured, in-school residency designed for real school gyms. We bring the equipment to you and transform your space into a progressive, station-based program that builds coordination, balance, strength, and confidence.

Why Movement Matters

Movement isn’t about perfect tricks or fearless kids; we believe it’s about learning how to meet challenges with curiosity. When children roll, balance, jump, and fall safely, they are practicing problem-solving, self-regulation, and resilience in real time.

Every station invites choice. Every skill offers multiple levels. Every wobble is a learning opportunity.

By creating a structured and inclusive space for movement, we help students build strong bodies, steadier minds, and the confidence to try again; learning that progress often begins with a stumble and grows through effort, reflection, and play.

We work within the realities of diverse classrooms and prioritize participation, dignity, and steady progress over performance.

Musical Gymnastics Stations

$700.00 per day
$3,500.00 per week

Stumble Up Gymnastics delivers a complete, in-school gymnastics unit set up directly in your gym. Students rotate through up to 8 structured stations designed to build foundational movement skills in a calm, organized, and inclusive environment.

Each lesson begins with guided instruction at four stations, followed by timed practice rotations (2–5 minutes per station). When the music stops, students switch. Every station includes progressive skill levels so students can build confidence through repetition and thoughtful challenge.

Schools provide 14–18 base mats, and we deliver and set up all additional equipment. With safe progressions, adaptable entry points, and calm, consistent instruction, this residency is designed specifically for real school gym environments and diverse learners.

Acrobatics

$700.00 per day
$3,500.00 per week

Students begin by learning foundational tumbling skills on mats without equipment, focusing on balance, body control, spatial awareness, and safe landings. Skills are then set to music and synchronized into simple choreography, developing rhythm, timing, and expressive movement.

As confidence grows, students explore individual and small-group sequences that build cooperation, trust, and safe body positioning (when close contact is permitted). Movement concepts from the Alberta Physical Education curriculum are woven throughout, including stability, locomotion, rotation, force production, coordination, and creative expression.

Choose your musical theme, and we’ll design a grade-appropriate acrobatic routine to match. Our Circus theme even includes props to add an extra layer of imagination and performance energy.

Hoop with Dani Altiere

$700.00 per day
$3,500.00 per week

ONLY AVAILABLE JANUARY THROUGH MARCH 2027. SPOTS ARE LIMITED AND FILLING FAST.

Dani Altiere WILL be available for artist in residence bookings in January, February, and March 2027! Dani is hoping her Hoop residence will be a happening as she is super keen to share why Hooping is a great activity for all kinds of kids and kids of all ages. Dani was already a fan of Hooping when she came across a study supporting hoop as a great method of developing interoception and connecting with neuro-diverse students. She has selected skills for success. Hooping is so visually intuitive, it can be taught silently, just watch and follow. Hoop is a flow art and helps the brain body connection by requiring the body to develop intuitive movement. The hoop is being passed at a speed that forces the brain to guess where it will be. During the lesson, the hoop literally rolls over the performers lymphatic systems as it crosses mid-lines, so it regulates emotion and builds connection between the hemispheres. Because the focus is on the hoop rather than the person, even reluctant souls will give a try. Dani arrives with 36 medium hoops and has 30-minute lessons complete with skills, games and free-style prepared for K – 12. Schools can book one, two or three lessons for each class. $350.00 per ½ day or $700.00 per day.
